Abstract Submissions

Abstract Submission Dates

You can submit your abstract for 28th IMSSC, 2024 now using our form.

General Information

The abstract submission for 28th IMSSC is open from January 15th till March 4th 2024. The jury of IMSSC 2024 will select and award three of the oral presentations and three of the poster presentations with presentation awards and cash awards that will soon be announced for each category. For IMSSC the presenting time for oral presentations is 10-12 minutes and 5-7 minutes for poster presentations. After both forms of presentation there will be time for the audience to ask questions in the next 2-3 minutes.

Abstract Requirements

The most important function of your abstract is to show that you have a valuable contribution to the congress and to lure the audience to your presentation. Abstracts will only be considered for the abstract selection procedure when they are written in English and do not exceed a maximum of 400 words. 

 

Note: Preliminary results are allowed in your abstract.

Eligibility

  • Original researches and case reports on any topic will be accepted. Original researches must be presented as oral presentation and case reports must be presented as poster presentation.

  • The researches and case reports must not be published before by someone else.

  • The abstracts must be original research or case reports.

  • The abstracts must not be rewarded in any international/national student congress before.

  • The abstracts must be authentic, understandable, educational, clinically interesting, and worthy of discussion, particularly around aspects of differential diagnosis, decision making, management, clinical guidelines and pathology.

  • Consent e-mail by the supervisor must be sent to us, otherwise your abstract will not be taken into consideration.

Abstract Title

  • A maximum of 200 characters typed in UPPER-CASE letters is permitted.

​

Abstract Authors

  • Only one of the authors can present the abstract.

  • Please underline the presenting author in the abstract.

  • Please enter all co-authors that were involved in the work of the abstract with their affiliation.

 

Abstract Text

  • Abstract text must be limited to 400 words.

  • All abstracts must be submitted (and presented) in English with accurate grammar and spelling suitable for publication.

  • Please do not add tables, graphs or images to the abstract.

  • Submissions must not contain patient names, hospital ID numbers or other identifying information.

  • Use generic names of drugs. The use of commercial drug names, brands, and registered trademarks is prohibited.

  • Limit the use of acronyms and abbreviations. Define at first use with acronym or abbreviation in parentheses.
