Student Scientific Research Club (SSRC) is proud to present the 28th International Medical Sciences Student Congress (IMSSC) which will be the latest edition of IMSSCs.

​

It is our utmost pleasure to say that the 1st IMSSC, which was organized in 1987, was the first international student congress in the world on Medical Sciences. 

​

For years SSRC  and our faculty Istanbul University, Faculty of Medicine has been providing a well designated and respected platform to students from around the world for scientific discussions, cultural exchange and networking.

Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine was founded in 1827 under the name of Mekteb-i Tıbbiye-i Şahane and has the honor of being the first modern medical institution in Turkey.

The Alumni of our historical faculty includes veteran physicians and pioneer researchers including the 2015 Nobel Prize Laureate in Chemistry, Prof.Dr. Aziz Sancar MD, PhD.

SSRC with its dynamic team and well-organised events aim to enlarge the perspective of all its volunteers and participants, while enabling to build strong relationships between participants from many different countries and cultures and getting the chance to learn about Istanbul. 

​

Our international congress, 28th IMSSC will be held on April 19-20-21, 2024 in Istanbul. The Lingua Franca of our congress is English.

​

Many activities await you throughout the organization that also offers you the unrivalled scenes of the city of Istanbul. In addition to our scientific program, we welcome you to a colourful social program including: Opening Dinner, Bosphorus Tour - Boat Party, and plenty of joyful workshops.
